#Deep Tarot quick start

No guide is required before starting. The three main areas explain the next action where it appears.

#Today

Open Today, choose a mood or write a question, then draw the card. The draw creates that day's diary entry immediately. After looking at the image, choose Explore the message to continue the reading inside Journey.

#Spreads

Open Spreads, choose a layout, and reveal each card. For a starting suggestion, write a question on the spread page; the private on-device matcher explains one spread and available deck, while both choices and the full directory remain editable. Position labels appear inside the spread. After every card is visible, continue to the journal-style reading in Journey.

#Journey

Open Journey to revisit cards, notes, and readings grouped by day. Open any date to see its saved card, edit the note, and begin or continue the same daily reading. Cards and every completed conversation turn are saved automatically. A reading uses the current day's note; eligible memberships can also connect relevant older diary entries that were explicitly allowed for AI context. Listen or create art directly beneath the latest answer. Clearing a day's private records preserves its daily card and never grants another draw.

Where the browser supports the Web Speech API, the first reflection composer shows a microphone button for dictation. Speech recognition is handled by the browser; Deep Tarot receives the resulting transcript text and does not record or upload microphone audio to its own backend. Browsers without that API simply keep the normal text input.

When artwork is enabled, choose one of three explicit modes: Symbolic turns the reflection into a metaphor-rich scene, Dream scene favors immersive surreal space, and Tarot card creates an original card-like archetypal illustration without copying an existing deck. The selected mode is remembered in that browser and is reused by later Create art actions. All three modes use the same image allowance, private media queue, and journal-storage rules.

The Journey card places a small progress ring beside the current chapter. Opening it reveals all 22 Major Arcana chapters and lifetime stars, moons, and suns. The chapters repeat after The World; marks keep accumulating.

Open Patterns to see deterministic discoveries alongside the private Week or Month review, returning cards, familiar decks, and recent reflection rhythm. Discoveries can notice factual recurrences such as returning cards, card pairs that appear together, repeated spread positions, recent suit or Major-Arcana concentration, long absences, and same-calendar-date echoes. These calculations use bounded saved reading metadata; they do not read diary prose into the result or make an AI call.

Open History for three factual views over the same saved reading history:

• Arcana lights up the cards you have actually encountered across the 78-card deck. Select a card to see first/last encounter, count, upright/reversed history, frequent companions, decks, and spread positions.
• Decks shows Deck History & Affinity: first/last use, reading count, common cards, and the existing Encountered → Familiar → Attuned → Resonant → Kindred affinity.
• Recaps summarizes the current year, recent months, and completed Journey chapters using ordinary counts. Chapter recaps appear only after Deep Tarot has recorded a trustworthy start and end for that chapter; older boundaries are never guessed. None of these factual summaries requires AI.

Open Achievements to see commemorative milestones for successful sharing, discoveries, recurring-card constellations, and personal artwork. Achievement progress works locally even without a subscription. Paid membership can synchronize small per-device counters across devices; it does not upload private questions, diary prose, share links, or reflection text. Sharing achievements never award AI credits, currency, or faster Journey progress.

Open In Sync or go directly to In Sync for a lightweight shared Tarot game. Everyone sees the same three rounds of three cards and independently chooses one card each round. On one device, 2–6 people can take turns while earlier choices stay hidden; the result ranks every pair by exact 0–3 matches. A two-person challenge can also be sent as a link so the other person receives the same seeded cards without signing in. Before reveal, guessing the number of matches is optional. The app never asks for the private person, question, or theme you had in mind, and a challenge link contains only the random seed and the first player's three position choices.

#Membership

Membership adds decks and monthly AI, image, and voice allowances. Annual billing changes the price, not the monthly allowance. Paid membership also enables cross-device achievement continuity while active; downgrading stops active sync without deleting a previously synchronized backup. If signed out, choosing a paid plan opens an email step on the same page; the secure link returns to the selected plan and continues to Stripe Checkout.
